Atalante X is indicated for adult patients with hemiplegia/hemiparesis, paraplegia/paraparesis, or tetraplegia/tetraparesis, regardless of the cause.
Atalante X is indicated for individuals with hemiplegia resulting from a stroke, a spinal cord injury (C4–L5), or multiple sclerosis (MS).
The device is intended for patients 18 years of age and older who are able to stand.
Operators must have completed a certified training program before using the device.
The Atalante X is not intended for sports or climbing stairs.

Atalante X is a self-balancing, hands-free rehabilitation exoskeleton designed for walking on the ground. It stabilizes itself autonomously, allowing all patients—including those without trunk control—to stand and walk without crutches or a walker, while therapists focus on rehabilitation. It features 12 motors, including an articulated ankle, and replicates a physiological gait pattern. It can be used for early mobilization as well as for chronic conditions.
Atalante X has received three FDA approvals: for stroke rehabilitation in December 2022, for spinal cord injuries at levels T5 through L5 in February 2024, and for spinal cord injuries at levels C4 through L5 as well as for multiple sclerosis in November 2025. It is CE-marked in Europe, with certification expanded in August 2025 to cover a broader range of neurological conditions, including tetraplegia. It is listed in the Australian Therapeutic Goods Register as a Class IIa device and was approved by ARCSA in Ecuador in July 2026.
The sessions consist of walking training on the floor: repeated steps, weight shifts, turns, and multidirectional movements, at the frequency and intensity specified in your protocol. The assistance can be adjusted asymmetrically and joint by joint to suit each patient’s therapeutic goals. Patients are positioned in the device while seated—a published study of post-stroke patients reported an average setup time of 6 minutes and 43 seconds and a removal time of 1 minute and 32 seconds. Gait parameters are monitored in real time to support data-driven recovery, and the battery allows for all-day use with a single battery change.
Operators must have completed a certified training program before using the device, and Atalante X must be used under the supervision of trained healthcare professionals throughout each session. Atalante X is not intended for sports or climbing stairs. It is a rehabilitation device designed for use in healthcare facilities under the supervision of trained staff; it is not a personal device for home use. Our personal exoskeleton for home use is Eve, a separate device with its own approval and indication.
