Walk in Paris is an initiative by Wandercraft designed to offer people with disabilities the opportunity to stand, walk, and participate in adapted physical activities during trial sessions with the Atalante X exoskeleton.

A Commitment to Community Healthcare and Patients’ Quality of Life: The Origins of Walk in Paris

In response to requests from patients in France and around the world, as well as from healthcare professionals in the Paris region, Wandercraft is opening its doors so that as many patients as possible can benefit from the Atalante X exoskeleton as part of a structured protocol.

Essential collaboration among local healthcare professionals

We believe in the importance of a strong local healthcare network to strengthen the coordination of healthcare services between community-based care and hospitals, optimize care, and improve patients’ quality of life. Our goal is to work collaboratively with the various stakeholders in the care process—including both local healthcare centers and private practices—to develop personalized care plans based on each patient’s specific needs and condition.

A multidisciplinary team dedicated to serving healthcare professionals and patients

Our multidisciplinary team consists of physical therapists, specialists in adapted physical activity, psychomotor therapists, and occupational therapists. They will welcome you at Walk in Paris and provide support tailored to your needs during your trial session.

It offers people with gait andbalance issues¹ the opportunity to improve their motor skills and enhance their independence in daily life.

Everything You Need to Know About a Trial Session at Walk in Paris

Wandercraft is committed to making Atalante X available to as many people as possible, provided certain medical conditions are met. That’s why we invite you to come try out our device at our Walk in Paris center, right in the heart of Paris. Our team of therapists will be delighted to welcome you.

After you register

Once you have registered using this form, please consult your primary care physician or physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist to obtain a medical certificate that allows us to verify that there are no contraindications to your use of Atalante X. We will also ask you to sign a consent form.

We will then contact you to schedule an appointment.

Preparing for a trial session with Atalante X

Test Day

When you come to Walk in Paris, we will ask you to bring your medical history, along with the consent form and the medical certificate that you will have sent us in advance.

Before the test, we will perform a physical examination to ensure that there are no contraindications. If the examination is satisfactory, we will take your measurements to adjust the Atalante X to your size.

Our team of therapists will be with you throughout the entire test.
